Outdoor Photoshoot Information

How it works!

  • Usually around 30 minutes online or in-person if preferred.

    We check the package is right for you and start planning. Location, timing, kit, and tips!

  • Confirmation and reminder of key information.

    This ensures you are relaxed, confident, and excited for the shoot.

  • The exciting bit! Let’s go and capture those images of your companion that will last forever.

  • The beautiful bit!

    Your images are sent via a personal online gallery within 2 weeks of the shoot.

  • After you have your images, choose the images and types of print.

    Samples are available to view at the photoshoot.

    These are priced separately from the photoshoot, so you are under no pressure.

Kit list

Dress to impress! Where safe to do so with alternative leads, we generally remove harnesses and collars. However, if you have a favourite outfit, bring it along.

We will have some treats, but in case of allergies or tolerances, please provide your own treats and/or toys. Treats should be small so we can provide numerous reinforcements throughout the shoot.

I will bring a clean towel and dog brush. Some dogs are particular about brushes. So if your dog is long haired, it is preferable for you to bring your own.

If your dog is nervous, why not bring a toy, blanket, or other comfort item?

Location & Timings

Please refer to your pre-shoot email for location details.

I will be ready to meet and begin at the time agreed. If your dog needs time to go to the toilet or let off a bit of steam, it is good if they can do that before we meet. This allows us to maximise our time together.

What To Expect

The shoot will start with us getting familiar with each other so your dog can feel safe with me.

We will work through several locations and shots as time allows. This will provide your dog with breaks and also a range of different images.

Depending on your dog’s personality and training, we will start with simple shots. This allows your dog to continue feeling happy with me and the camera. It also helps us learn to work together to the get the best shots.

We will progress through some different shots at your dogs pace. The goal is always high quality shots rather than lots of shots.

Dog Welfare

Please inform me of any concerns for your dog. This might include any current injury or specific anxieties.

When choosing a location, please keep in mind the presence of other dogs and the public.

While we make every effort to create a safe and supportive environment, no photo is worth distressing your dog for. Please inform me of any signs of discomfort or nervousness throughout the shoot.

Your Images

You will receive digital images via a your own personal gallery and link within a week.
